Do we trust ourselves as though we can be trusted? Do we radiate love or are we just looking to find love and get love? Until we love who we are---not just say it, but believe it---we will never find the love we are or the love we believe someone else has to give to US... My poem: SELF-LOVE When self love is truly there, you'll feel it through and through. It will be the spirit that dwells inside of you. When self love is truly within, you'll know happiness, it will be part of your being. When self love is truly there, it’s like a ray of hope in the air. When you walk in the room, confidence will shine, you’ll be rare, like a fine wine. No need to say a word. It will be in your smile, on your face, you'll glide with every step you take. When self love is truly there, you'll have self-respect Which demands you to be treated the best. When someone does otherwise, you will quickly rise, politely excuse yourself. This is treatment you won't accept. When self love is truly there, self-esteem will be the best because you won't settle, for anything less. How do you show your Self-Love? |
